Agribusiness is the economic sector that includes all agriculture and agriculture-related commercial endeavors. From growing crops or raising livestock to getting agricultural goods worldwide, agricultural professionals play a significant role in the U.S. economy.
In our agribusiness program, you may:
- Pursue an Associate in Applied Science degree in Agribusiness or a Certificate in the Foundations of Agribusiness.
- Learn the latest in agricultural technology with experienced professionals.
- Explore the applications of precision technology in agricultural crop production.

- There are many career options in agribusiness, including farm management, custom applicator, U.S. Department of Agriculture employee, sales representative, livestock manager or insurance representative.
- The National Career Clusters Framework created a tool to help you find a career that suits your interests and skills. Our agribusiness program is part of the career cluster.
- Coursework is taught by agriculture professionals in the classroom and outside on our 120-acre campus.
- Students learn using modern equipment and software, including a John Deere UTV Crossover Gator.

Â鶹ӳ» will host an open house for Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs from 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 1, in the Caukin Building on the Â鶹ӳ» campus. The CTE Open House offers prospective students the opportunity to view Â鶹ӳ»â€™s state-of-the-art labs and equipment and network with instructors.
