Kody's Cupboard was started in 2019 by College staff and the Board of Trustees to provide supplemental resources to alleviate hunger and meet basic needs for the Â鶹ӳ»waukee College community.
Kody’s Cupboard is open from 9 am-2 pm on Tuesdays for walk-ins, C1120, or curbside pickup at the Student Center drive in front of Door 6. Orders must be submitted by Monday at 12:00 pm. Orders placed after 12:00 pm will not be available until the following week unless notified otherwise.
Please email studentlife@kish.edu to explore other options if you are unable to attend the pickup or have transportation challenges.
Current Â鶹ӳ» students, students enrolled in Illinois High School Diploma classes, and students enrolled in English as a Second Language classes.
Non-perishable food items and feminine hygiene products are available.

My Express Pantry
provides a free online shopping guide for groceries in the DeKalb and North Chicago areas.
SNAP
The Illinois Department of Human Services Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (food stamps) is a food assistance program that helps people with low incomes buy food. Benefits can be used to purchase food items at grocery stores and convenience stores. Benefits are put on a LINK card. Your SNAP unit size is anyone you buy and prepare food with. It does not have to include everyone you live with.
The U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have partnered to extend SNAP Benefits to qualified students.
