The Â鶹ӳ» Foundation is pleased to announce the student scholarship recipients for the Fall 2024 semester. The Foundation awarded 333 scholarship awards totaling $267,574.

CTE at Â鶹ӳ»
Career and Technical Education (CTE) offers students the chance to earn a degree or certificate and immediately join the workforce. CTE courses teach job skills for high-paying trades and careers. Students can take affordable classes at Â鶹ӳ» and start earning a living. With many programs to choose from, ranging from eight weeks to two years to complete, Â鶹ӳ» provides training for the future. Programs offer opportunities for lifelong learning through pathways that build upon certificates and degrees.

- CTE careers are in demand. The United States has a projected 6.5 million deficit of skilled workers in infrastructure, health care, manufacturing and more, according to data from the Associate for Career & Technical Education (ACTE).
- More than 70% of Â鶹ӳ» CTE graduates find employment in a related field, earning a median wage of $26.83 per hour, according to the Â鶹ӳ»waukee Data Book.
- Many Â鶹ӳ» CTE graduates stay local, with about 60% finding jobs within the Â鶹ӳ» district and more than 90% finding work in Illinois, according to a Â鶹ӳ»waukee Technical Graduate Survey.
- Â鶹ӳ»â€™s health-related CTE graduates boast a licensure pass rate higher than the state average, according to Dean Monitoring Reports.
