Full-Time Staff Benefits

Medical Insurance: Full-Time Staff are eligible for individual or family coverage, participating in Â鶹ӳ»­â€™s self-insurance, PPO or HDHP health plans.

Vision Insurance: Full-Time Staff are eligible for individual or family coverage in Â鶹ӳ»­â€™s vision insurance plan.

Dental Insurance: Full-Time Staff are eligible for individual or family coverage in Â鶹ӳ»­â€™s dental insurance plan.

Flexible Spending & Health Savings Account: Full-time staff can set aside pre-tax dollars to cover eligible medical or dependent care expenses.

Term Life Insurance: The College provides Term Life Insurance equal to $50,000 or 1.5 times the annual base salary. Employees electing 1.5 times base salary are liable for tax implications. Optional life insurance for employees, spouses and dependents is available.

Retirement: State law requires Full-Time Staff to join the State Universities Retirement System (SURS). For more information, visit . 

Deferred Compensation Plans: The College offers 403(b) and 457 tax-deferred annuity plans.

Tuition Waivers: The College will waive tuition for an unlimited amount of Â鶹ӳ»­ credit courses for employees, spouses and children under 25.

Tuition Reimbursement: Reimbursement for course tuition at other educational institutions is available as outlined in the Board Policy Manual.

Four-Day Summer Work Week: The College adopts a four-day summer work week beginning on the Monday following Spring Commencement and continuing for 12 weeks.

Sick: Full-Time Staff receive 15 sick days per academic year. Up to five sick days may be used for personal business.

Vacation: SLT Administrators (24 days); Non-SLT Administrators (21 days); Professional Staff and Grant-Funded Professional Staff (21 days); Confidential Staff (See Board Policy Section 2.07.01 — based on years of service).
